Privacy Policy

This policy explains what TODO legal entity name, doing business as Sparkplug, collects when you use sparkplug.agency or engage our services, how that information is used, and what choices you have.
1. Information you give us
- Contact form submissions: name, business name, email address, phone number, website, service interest, budget range, and whatever you write in the message field.
- Onboarding intake submissions from clients: business details, service selections, and operational information needed to run your account.
- Anything you send us by email or share with us during an engagement.
2. Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and time of request, for security and reliability purposes.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure how people find and use the site. It records pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device and browser type, referring source, and whether a contact form was submitted. IP addresses are anonymized. We use this to understand which pages are useful and which advertising works, not to identify individual visitors. Google's handling of this data is governed by their own privacy policy.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry;
- To set up, run, and report on your account if you become a client;
- To send service communications such as reports, invoices, and account notices;
- To improve our services and keep the site secure;
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies' marketing.
4. Service providers
We use third-party services to operate the business, and information passes through them for those purposes only. These currently include:
- Website hosting and DNS: Netlify, and Namecheap;
- Form delivery: Web3Forms;
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4;
- Email: Namecheap Pro Email and Google Workspace;
- File storage and documents: Google Workspace;
- Workflow automation: n8n;
- Advertising platforms used on a client's behalf, such as Google Ads and Meta, under that client's instruction.
5. Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish one visit from another and to measure whether a visitor returns. This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising pixel of its own. Embedded third-party resources, such as web fonts, may log requests under their own policies. You can block these cookies in your browser settings without losing any functionality on this site. TODO: update this section if you later add an advertising pixel or a chat widget.
6. Retention
Inquiry submissions are kept as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of business contacts. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and afterwards as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete an inquiry record at any time.
7. Your choices
- Ask what personal information we hold about you;
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong;
- Ask us to delete information we are not required to keep;
- Unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time.
Send any of these requests to ignite@sparkplug.agency. We respond within TODO number of days.
8. Security
We use access controls, reputable providers, and encrypted connections to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send passwords or payment card numbers through website forms or ordinary email.
9. Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
